Wisconsin Dells

The Wisconsin Dells are located on the Wisconsin River in central Wisconsin. Also a place of scenic beauty with sandstone cliffs and rock formations, northwoods-style pines and spruce trees, rolling hills, and cool, dark canyons. The Wisconsin Dells are also a major tourism center attracting millions of visitors each year!

What is there to do in the Dells? Visitors come to see Indian ceremonies, go to waterparks, and magical and musical stage shows. They ride double-decker tour boats down the Wisconsin River and blast across land and sea in real World War II amphibious ducks. There’s the Tommy Bartlett’s Robot World & Exploratory with hands on science for inquiring minds.

There’s boutiques and arcades; fudge shops and fishing; the Wax World of the Stars and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not; Jet Skis and Boat rentals at Lake Delton Watersports; hiking at mirror lake state park or devils lake state park. You will find Go-carts, bungee rides, roller coasters, and themed miniature golf courses. There’s the Alien Planet fun house and the Timbavati wild life park. There are theaters and magic shows and interactive experience quests.

The Circus World Museum is in nearby Baraboo as is beautiful Devil’s Lake State Park and Campground. There’s also a large casino complex and many fine golf courses. Of course, you always have the option of sitting by your motel pool or by the lake enjoying fresh Wisconsin air and sunshine.

Finally, there’s the water parks. Some have called the Dells the Chlorination Capital Of the World! Parks are indoors and outdoors to suit the weather and include America’s largest Water Park, Noah’s Ark. Acres and acres of slides and pools create watery amusement parks for all ages.

To get the rates and rooms that you want, you’ll want to reserve as early as possible. Lakeside Motel offers clean, affordable rooms in a terrific location but still secluded enough to afford the rest you’ll need after a full day of enjoying what the Dells have to offer! All this in a friendly, family atmosphere. We have the same families visiting us year after year, there must be a reason! We would love to see you join them.
